MKB uses secure links, secure forms, and secure document upload options for sensitive tax, payroll, bookkeeping, identity, banking, and financial documents.

What should be uploaded securely?

Any document containing tax information, Social Security numbers, EINs, bank activity, payroll details, income records, identity documents, or financial statements should be submitted through a secure link only.

Tax forms such as W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, prior-year returns, IRS notices, and state notices.
Bookkeeping records such as bank statements, credit card statements, receipts, reports, and payment processor records.
Payroll records such as employee records, contractor records, payroll reports, W-9s, W-2s, and 1099 information.
Business records such as LLC documents, EIN letters, operating agreements, annual reports, and compliance notices.
Identity and dependent documents should only be submitted if requested and only through secure upload.

Can I complete intake before speaking with MKB?

This page is mainly for clients or prospective clients who have already spoken with MKB or were directed here. If you are new, start with a consultation first.

Does completing intake mean work has started?

No. Completing intake does not automatically start work or create a client relationship. MKB must confirm scope, payment, documents, and engagement terms.

Can I email my tax documents?

Sensitive documents should not be sent through regular email. Use the secure document upload link provided by MKB.

What if I choose the wrong intake form?

Contact MKB before submitting another form. We will direct you to the correct intake link if needed.

What if I do not have all my documents?

Submit what you have and note what is missing. MKB may request additional documents before work can begin or continue.

Where do I pay?

Use the Make a Payment page only after your payment amount, invoice, or service fee has been confirmed by MKB.
